2012 Design Team Call...
Friday, October 14, 2011 at 12:00AM It is that time again friends! We are looking for 5-6 fresh faces to join our design team for 2012! This is a bittersweet moment as these girls aren't just our designers they are our friends. So before I get into all the details of the new dt call I'd like to take a moment to thank our current designers.
Eva, Jenn, Karen, Mindy and Laurel have all been with us for 2 fun years (3 for Jenn)! I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting each of them and they have been a delight to work with. They each have been dedicated and loyal and have given Scrap-Mart their absolute best in each design. Thank you, ladies, for your hard work over the years. We appreciate you more than you know!
Okay, so are you ready for the 2012 Design Team Call?!
As I stated above, we are looking for 5-6 new designers to join us for 2012. Scrap-Mart has a diverse product line so we are looking for crafters who love to stamp, scrapbook, die cut, color and more! I encourage you to visit our online store to get a feel for the products we carry before you apply!!
Requirements:
- Each designer will commit to a 13 month term (Dec. 2011-Dec 2012)
- 4 or more projects per month to be posted on the Scrap-Mart blog (cards, layouts, altered projects, tutorials and/or videos)
- you MUST have an active personal blog and promote Scrap-Mart whenever possible on your blog (this includes use of logos/blinkies, linking posts/products to the online store, and posting in online forums where allowed)
- 3-4 physical project samples per quarter for our trade show booths or special assignments as requested (samples may not be returned)
- Participation in blog hops and company promotions, including our Holiday Blog Hop, Dec 5-10, 2011

- You will receive 50% off (retail prices) on all purchases online or from our trade show booth for the length of your term (designer to pay shipping if online order)

- Your name, full shipping address and telephone number
- A short paragraph telling us about yourself
- A link to your personal blog and any online galleries
- Include a list of any other design teams you are currently serving on (design team experience is not required!)
- Attach photos of 3 of your favorite projects you created recently (we'd like to see at least one layout and one card). You do not have to create new projects for the call, we just want to get a feel for your style.
- You may include your resume, if you have one
You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application within 48 hours. If you do not receive confirmation, please re-send your application.
The call will remain open until November 5, 2011. We will announce the 2012 SMDT right here on our blog on November 15, 2011.
